Actions relating to COVID-19
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have put in place several measures to protect our employees and partners, while ensuring the operation of our 8 national networks. Recently, we also launched an offer for healthcare staff and other healthcare stakeholders. This offer, in addition to public transport, enables them to reach their workplace more easily and efficiently. We have also put in place precise rules for the disinfection of bikes: they are systematically and completely disinfected on entering and leaving the repair workshop. In addition to the handlebars and grips, the lock, activation button, basket, saddle and saddle adjustment, for example, are disinfected. Moreover, we would like to remind you that it is important to disinfect your hands before and after riding a bike!
All of this has been possible thanks to committed and motivated staff, despite a small number of employees and the restrictions imposed by the exceptional situation we are currently experiencing in Switzerland. Some of our employees have been working from home for several weeks now. Our internal organization allows us, in part, to continue our activity from our respective homes. Our thoughts go out to our colleagues and partners in the field and we thank them warmly for their commitment, as well as our colleagues at PostBus and Swiss Post.
We also think of all the people who continue to work every day to keep our country running as smoothly as possible. To all these people, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and thank them for their work.
