New e-bikes & bikes

Introduction of the latest e-bikes and bikes from PubliBike Velospot.

E-scooters

The first e-scooters from PubliBike Velospot. In Ticino, e-scooters can only be unlocked with the new app and either a B-Fit Local – Ticino or a BusinessBike subscription for Ticino.

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum one e-scooter at a time
• No e-scooter use with B-Quick

Introduction of B-Fit Local – Ticino. The subscription for frequent riders in Ticino.

Valid in Ticino. Outside Ticino, the B-Quick rate applies.

Sottoceneri

1. Download the PubliBike Velospot (Zone 1) app.
2. Register again with your phone number, name, and email address. Use the same email address as in your PubliBike account if you want to transfer your subscription (B-Fit or BusinessBike).
3. Add a payment method and then your SwissPass, as these are not transferred.
4. Holders of a B-Quick subscription will have to register again. Their subscription will not be transferred. A verification fee of CHF 5 is charged upon registration – this amount will then be credited to your riding credit.

Sopraceneri (Locarno–Bellinzona)

1. Download the PubliBike Velospot (Zone 1) app.
2. Login is done with your mobile phone number. If you didn’t register a number in the old app, please register again. If you already registered a mobile phone number, you can log in directly.
3. Add a payment method. Now you can also add your SwissPass.
4. Your current subscription will automatically end at the beginning of August as it cannot be migrated. The partial refund will be made automatically during August – please only contact us if this hasn’t happened by early September.
5. New subscription and prices: After registration, the B-Quick tariff is active. You have the option to purchase a different subscription in the app.
6. Refund: The partial refund will be processed automatically during August, provided you had a payment method saved in your account. If not, please send the following information by email to abovelospot@fgabbiano.ch:
   • IBAN number
   • Bank name
   • First and last name
   Refunds under CHF 10 will not be paid out.

Velospot cards

Velospot cards will no longer work with the new vehicles, so please dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way or return them to collection points at selected stations.
