Ride an e-scooter with PubliBike Velospot

E-Scooter Publibike Velospot

You can unlock e-scooters in Zurich, Biel, and Ticino via the PubliBike Velospot app. Prices vary depending on the region and subscription. If your subscription includes special e-scooter rates, this is indicated in the description. Otherwise, you ride at the B-Quick National rate.


Pay attention to zones

On the app map, you can see the permitted riding areas. If you enter a restricted zone, the e-scooter will automatically switch off.

Rates and subscription

Regional e-scooter rates apply and may vary depending on your subscription. Additionally, a one-time fee may apply, which will be credited to you as ride credit.

Stations

Zurich: E-scooters are not station-based. You can park them anywhere, as long as you respect the marked zones in the app.

Biel & Ticino: E-scooters are station-based and must be returned to the same stations as bikes and e-bikes.


How it works with the app & QR code

E-scooters are unlocked and locked by scanning the QR code on the handlebar. Rental via SwissPass is not possible.

Minimum age

The minimum age is 18 years.

Speed

The e-scooters can reach up to 15 km/h in Ticino and 20 km/h in Biel/Bienne.

No-ride zones

E-scooters may only be used within the permitted zones marked by the dotted line. Additional no-ride zones may exist and are marked in purple. E-scooters must be returned exclusively at mixed stations.
