PubliBike Velospot Andermatt – Excursions by bike or e-bike
39 vehicles at 7 stations are available to you for a varied excursion in the Andermatt region. Combining hiking and a bike tour is also easily possible and provides a special nature experience.
B-Quick without annual fee
If you don’t want to buy an annual subscription, you can use B-Quick and pay per ride.
B-Fit Local Andermatt
With the 6-month subscription, you ride for 30 minutes per trip for free by bike and 15 minutes free by e-bike. You can activate the subscription directly in the app for CHF 34.–.
Hotel offers
Some hotels offer day passes. This allows you to travel flexibly by bike or e-bike and easily explore the region. Information is available directly at the reception. If no day passes are available, they can be requested. Access is usually organised within 1–2 days.
How does renting work?
Rent
In the app, you can see all available bikes, e-bikes, and all active stations.
- In the app, tap on Rent.
- Press the on/off button on the bike lock.
- The bike number appears in the app and you can unlock it.
Take a break
- Press the on/off button on the bike lock.
- Pull the lever on the right side of the lock down and hold it briefly until the lock closes.
End your ride
Ride to any active PubliBike Velospot station visible on the map to return your bike or e-bike.
- Press the on/off button on the bike lock.
- Pull the lever on the right side of the lock down and hold it briefly until the lock closes.
Tip: If you don’t hear two beeps when closing or the lever doesn’t lock, lift the lever and press it down more slowly. After about 30 seconds, the lock confirms the end of your ride.
Don’t feel like using an app?
You can also unlock bikes and e-bikes without registering in the app using SwissPass – simply via Tap&Go at the B-Quick tariff.
Excursion tip
From Andermatt, a beautiful hike of around 2 hours leads to Hospental or Realp. Afterwards, you can relax and take PubliBike back. The combination of hiking and cycling makes the tour varied and ideal for a perfect day in the mountains.
