PubliBike and Velospot merge together

Test Vehicles from December in Bern
In December, an initial test fleet will already be available for rental via the new app. Using the new app requires a one-time re-registration, providing your name, email address, and phone number. Existing subscriptions from the current app will be automatically transferred if registration is done with the same email address. From January, more and more vehicles will gradually be available via the new app.

Ticino 3.0: New app, bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters
Starting in September 2025, all bikesharing services in Ticino will be harmonised and modernised. That means: a completely new fleet (e-bikes, bikes and e-scooters) and a new app for the entire canton.

The transition in Zurich
Zurich has already switched to the new system and now uses the PubliBike Velospot (Zone 1) app.
Soon, only one app will be needed across Switzerland

Benefits at a glance:
- Unified app across Switzerland
- Standardised subscriptions
- Modern and reliable locking systems
- Modern bikes and e-bikes
How to use your subscription in both apps

A subscription you purchased in one app can also be used in the other app. You just need to follow a few simple steps to transfer your subscription. The detailed instructions will help you with this.
